They are strong, beautiful, and exceptionally bio-compatible. Unlike porcelain, which tends to wear opposing teeth more than usual, Empress is very gentle on the opposing teeth.

It takes a real artist to work with Empress. The material is fairly translucent, so it takes a dentist with a firm grasp of color principles. They also have to be bonded to the teeth in order to attain their full strength. These high-tech bonding procedures require extensive additional training beyond dental school.
